- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of paper and cardboard air permeability testers. This standard applies to the Schauer air permeability tester (hereinafter referred to as the "air permeability meter") designed based on the principle of the Schauer test method and used for the air permeability test of paper and cardboard in the medium air permeability range. The periodic technical status inspection of the breathability meter during use should also be referred to.
