- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of cardboard puncture strength testers. This standard applies to puncture strength testers (hereinafter referred to as "puncture testers") designed based on the structural principles of the Beechcraft puncture tester for puncture strength testing of cardboard (including corrugated cardboard). Periodic technical status inspections during use of the puncture instrument should also be used with reference.
