Scope: The previous chapter of GB 1706.1 applies except for the following content. Instead, this standard applies to electric tableware sterilizers, ozone tableware sterilizers and electric-ozone combination tableware sterilizers for household and similar purposes with a rated power not exceeding 35 kW. This standard also applies to tableware sterilizing cabinets that are not for general household use but are still dangerous to the public, such as tableware sterilizing cabinets used in canteens, restaurants, hotels and other places. This standard does not take into account certain special hazards that exist in nurseries and other places where unsupervised old, young, sick and weak people live. In this case, additional security requirements are required. This standard does not apply to: 　——Disinfection cabinets specially designed for industry: 　——Tableware sterilizing cabinets used in places with corrosive and explosive gases (dust, vapor or gas); 　——Disinfection of medical instruments and medical and sanitary products disinfection cabinet. Additional requirements are required for tableware sterilizers used on vehicles, ships or aircraft. Special requirements are required for tableware sterilizers used in tropical areas.
