Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of intrinsically safe portable microcomputers for non-control use in coal mines. This standard applies to intrinsically safe portable microcomputers (hereinafter referred to as microcomputers) used underground in coal mines.
