- This standard specifies the inspection specifications for the transmission gearbox (hereinafter referred to as the gearbox) of the cantilever tunnel boring machine (hereinafter referred to as the tunnel boring machine). This standard applies to tunnel boring machine cutting mechanism gearboxes, loading mechanism gearboxes, traveling mechanism gearboxes and hydraulic pump distributor gearboxes.
