This standard was formulated for the purpose of preventing and extinguishing aircraft fires and rescuing the lives of aircraft occupants. It stipulates the organizational division criteria, ratio of people to vehicles, and equipment base of fire stations at civil air transport airports (including the civilian part of military-civilian airports, the same below) . This standard applies to the organizational structure and equipment configuration of fire stations at civil air transport airports (including newly built, renovated, and expanded airports) within the territory of the People's Republic of China. Airports used for training may refer to this standard based on the airport's fire protection level and actual conditions.
