This standard is applicable to the determination of the solidity coefficient of lignite, bituminous coal, and anthracite, but is not applicable to natural coke and coke. The solidity of coal is a comprehensive index of its ability to resist external force damage determined by various properties of coal, and is represented by the solidity coefficient f. This standard uses the mashing method to determine the solidity coefficient f value.
