Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, quality inspection regulations, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and use of aircraft de-icing/anti-icing fluids (ISO Type I). This standard applies to Newtonian fluids that remove and prevent ice, snow or frost from the surface of parked aircraft.
