Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, storage and transportation of hand-held motor pumps powered by gasoline engines (hereinafter referred to as motor pumps). This standard applies to motorized pumps that transport clean water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water.
