This standard specifies the equipment and instruments used for measurement, preparation before measurement, measurement steps, calculation of measurement results, precision, and organization of measurement results, etc. This standard is applicable to the method for measuring the performance of filter aids used in vacuum filters in coal preparation plants. This standard uses the difference in unit processing capacity of the filter before and after adding filter aids to coal slurry and the difference in total moisture content of the filter cake as indicators of the performance of filter aids.
