Scope

This standard specifies the classification, performance and inspection methods of open integrated electric air inlet filter dust respirators. This standard applies to work sites where dust and particles are contained in the air. This standard does not apply to places where the oxygen content in the air is less than 18%; where the toxic particles in the air exceed TJ36 regulations; and in workplaces where explosions may occur.
