- This standard specifies the technical requirements for the maintenance and repair of the mid-frequency/very high-frequency digital selective calling system of sea (river) shore stations (hereinafter referred to as the shore station MF/VHF DSC system). This standard applies to the shore station MF/VHF DSC system of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS). The technical requirements for maintenance and repair of the shore station's high-frequency digital selective calling system shall be implemented with reference to this.
