Scope

This part of JR/T 0025-2005 includes the following main contents: 　——Physical characteristics: Specifies the physical characteristics of proximity cards (PICC). This part is equivalent to the content of ISO/IEC 14443-1. - RF power and signal interface: Specifies the nature and characteristics of the fields that provide power and bidirectional communication between proximity coupling devices (PCDs) and proximity cards (PICCs). This standard does not specify methods of generating coupled fields, nor does it specify compliance with regulations regarding electromagnetic field radiation and human body radiation safety. This part is equivalent to the content of ISO/IEC 14443-2. - Initialization and anti-collision: This specification describes the polling of the PICC into the PCD workplace; the byte format, framing and timing used during the initial phase of communication between the PCD and the PICC; the content of the initial REQ and ATQ commands; the detection method and method of communicating with one of several cards (anti-collision); other parameters required to initialize communication between PICC and PCD; easy and accelerated selection of one of several cards on the basis of application criteria (i.e., Optional method for the one that needs to be handled the most). This part is equivalent to the content of ISO/IEC 14443-2. —Transmission protocol: Specifies a half-duplex transmission protocol that features special needs in a contactless environment, and defines the activation and deactivation sequences of the protocol. This section applies to Type A and Type B PICCs. This part is equivalent to the content of ISO/IEC 14443-4. —Data elements and command sets: Defines the general data elements, command sets and basic requirements for terminal responses used to close and activate contactless channels in financial applications. This section applies to contactless financial IC cards issued or accepted by banks. It is mainly used by departments (units) related to card design, manufacturing, management, issuance, acceptance and application system research, development, integration and maintenance related to contactless financial IC card applications.
