Scope

This part of GB/Work 7187 specifies the calculation method for fuel consumption of ocean transport ships. This section is applicable to the calculation of fuel consumption of various types of ocean transport ships such as container ships, general cargo ships, dry bulk carriers, liquid bulk carriers, passenger ships and other ships using diesel engines as main propulsion power.
