Scope

This SAE Recommended Practice covers the most common applications of electronically controlled on-demand AWD couplings used in passenger (car and light truck) vehicle applications. PURPOSE The purpose of this SAE Recommended Practice is to provide a means to define@ measure@ and quantify the operating characteristics of electronically controlled on-demand AWD coupling systems.
