- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, shape and specifications, marking, raw materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs and certificates, transportation and storage of fiber cement cable pipes and their joints. This standard applies to fiber cement cable tubes (hereinafter referred to as cable tubes) and their joints used to protect wires or cables in power, communications and other fields produced with inorganic mineral fibers, organic synthetic fibers or plant fibers as reinforcing materials.
