Scope

This standard specifies the measurement methods, evaluation and limits of mechanical vibration of small power motors. This standard applies to asynchronous motors, synchronous motors, DC motors and AC commutator motors whose continuous rated power does not exceed 1.1kW when converted to 1500r/min. This standard does not apply to motors installed and operated in operating locations.
