- This document specifies the accelerated life test method for mixed metal oxide anodes used for cathodic protection in concrete environments. Accelerated life test results can be used to compare the durability of different metal oxide anode materials and evaluate whether the anode meets the design expected life requirements at rated current output. This document also applies to other impressed current anode systems embedded in concrete, where anodes of different geometries can be fixed with appropriate modifications.
