- This standard specifies the general provisions for ultrasonic flaw detection of solid strips of porcelain with a diameter greater than 50mm and straight cylindrical porcelain sleeves with a wall thickness greater than 30mm, test requirements, artificial standard defect specimens, flaw detection work sensitivity, basis for rejection, records, etc. This standard only applies to A-type pulse reflection ultrasonic flaw detection, using the contact method for longitudinal ultrasonic flaw detection of porcelain parts.
