- This standard specifies the requirements for high-current water-cooled cables for industrial electric heating equipment with a rated voltage below 3kV (inclusive), a current frequency from DC to 10Hz, and a nominal cross-sectional area of 100 square millimeters to 700 square millimeters, including model, Specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, etc. This standard is applicable to short network water-cooled cables for AC and DC steelmaking electric arc furnaces, ladle refining furnaces, submerged arc furnaces, electroslag furnaces, etc. and water-cooled cables connected to induction furnace coils.
