1.1 This standard stipulates the installation man-hour quota for B&W low-speed diesel engines on board ships. 1.2 The listed working hours quotas for each item in this standard are given under typical conditions and can be modified according to the actual difficulty. The correction coefficient K can be found in the instructions for use of the relevant clauses. 1.3 The working hour quota specified in this standard includes: basic time, auxiliary time, time for setting up the work place, time for rest and physiological needs, preparation and completion time. 1.4 This standard is a working hour quota based on the marine low-speed diesel engine manufactured by Danish B&W Company. The KEF type is the original design product of the Danish B&W company. The KGF type has modified the design to improve the performance of various parts based on the KEF type, but still uses a pulse supercharger, and its working hour quota can be used universally. 1.5 The quota of this standard is based on an 8-cylinder machine. If the number of cylinders increases or decreases, it can be increased or decreased in proportion to the single-cylinder working hour quota. 1.6 The technical grades cited in this standard are based on the "Technical Grade Standards for Shipbuilding Industry Workers" issued by China State Shipbuilding Corporation in 1983.
