JB/T 50155-1999 This standard is a revision of ZB J01 005-87 "Cupola Energy Consumption Classification". This standard stipulates that machinery industry enterprises use coke as fuel. The melting capacity is from 1t/h to 20t/h, and the energy consumption level of the cupola furnace is used to produce gray cast iron, tinplate cast iron, and ductile iron. Other cupola furnaces can be implemented accordingly. Based on the previous molten iron temperature of 1400°C in the tap trough, the cupola furnace base was divided into first-class, second-class and third-class according to the comparable unit energy consumption per ton of metal charge. Comparable unit energy consumption that does not reach the third-class index is classified as out-of-class. This standard was first published in 1987.
