- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, placards, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of activated carbon adsorption tanks. This standard only applies to adsorption tanks represented by fixed bed methods using granular activated carbon. It is recommended that the particle size of activated carbon is between 0.8 and 3.0, the length is between 3 and 8, and the strength is greater than 85%.
