Scope

This standard specifies the test procedures, test conditions, test equipment and test results for internal combustion engine air filters, so as to make the laboratory performance test results of air filters comparable. This standard is applicable to the testing of air filters for internal combustion engines used in road vehicles, agricultural and forestry machinery, engineering machinery, ships and stationary power.
