Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of gray cast iron cylinder heads and body castings for internal combustion engines. This standard applies to cylinder heads and body castings of non-alloy and low-alloy gray cast iron for internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter less than or equal to 200 mm. Similar castings of other models can also be used with reference.
