- Scope
- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of non-asbestos material gaskets and fillers between the bonnet and valve body of marine valves. This standard applies to gaskets with a nominal pressure not greater than 6.4 MPa and an operating temperature not greater than 350°C, and packings with a nominal pressure not greater than 10.0MPa and an operating temperature not greater than 350°C.
