Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of commonly used piezoelectric ceramic components for underwater acoustics. This standard applies to piezoelectric ceramic components in four shapes: discs of three piezoelectric ceramic materials: P-41, P-51 and P-81, mesoporous discs, radially polarized circular tubes and rectangular plates.
