Scope

This standard specifies a method for measuring the complex reflection coefficient of hydroacoustic materials or hydroacoustic structures at normal incidence using the standing wave method in a water-filled pipe. This standard applies to the measurement, testing and identification of the low-frequency acoustic performance of hydroacoustic materials and hydroacoustic structures for underwater applications.
