- This standard specifies the bending and heat treatment (medium frequency quenching and electric furnace tempering) processes of 921A hot-rolled flat bulb steel and the acceptance technical requirements and inspection after heat treatment. This standard is applicable to the acceptance after medium frequency bending, medium frequency quenching, electric furnace tempering and heat treatment of 14-27 hot-rolled single-sided spherical flat steel and 30C hot-rolled symmetrical spherical flat steel for submarines. The acceptance of straight spherical flat steel that does not require bending after medium frequency quenching, electric furnace tempering and heat treatment can also be carried out by reference.
