Scope: This regulation applies to domestic water supply, production water supply, fire water supply and hot water supply projects using hydraulic control valves in newly built, renovated and expanded civil and industrial construction projects. The water engineering in buildings can be adopted as a reference. This regulation does not apply to the following projects: 1 Domestic water supply projects with a pH value not greater than 6.5 and using galvanized steel pipes for water transmission and distribution. 2 Hot water supply projects with total raw water hardness (calculated as calcium carbonate) greater than 357mg/L and without water quality treatment.
