- This standard specifies the parameters and structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of Class J flange bronze 0.5MPa swing check valves (hereinafter referred to as check valves) with flange connection dimensions according to JIS B2240-1996 . This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of check valves for pipeline systems with media such as seawater, fresh water, oil and static water with a temperature not higher than 120°C.
