Scope: This procedure is applicable to the design of deep beams in industrial and civil buildings and general structures that mainly bear vertical static loads. The design of deep beams in engineering structures such as water conservancy and ports can be used as a reference. This regulation is prepared in accordance with the principles of the "Uniform Standards for Design of Building Structures" GBJ 68-1984 and the provisions of "General Symbols, Units of Measurement and Basic Terminology for Design of Building Structures" GBJ 83-1985.
