- This standard specifies the parameters and structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of J-type flange cast steel right-angle air valves (hereinafter referred to as air valves) whose flange connection dimensions are in accordance with JIS B2238-1996. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of air valves for ship air piping systems with maximum working pressure not greater than 4.6MPa.
