Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of marine horizontal self-priming centrifugal vortex pumps. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of pumps that transport fresh water and seawater (medium temperature not higher than 75°C) for ships' drinking water, washing and sanitary installations.
