Scope: This standard is equivalent to the provisions of the international standard IEC840-1988 "Tests on extruded insulated power cables with rated voltages above 30kV (=36kV) and 150kV (=170kV)". This standard is a supplement to GB11017 "Rated voltage 110kV copper core, aluminum core cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cable". It stipulates the information that should be provided to the manufacturer when ordering 110kV cross-linked polyethylene cable and the requirements for the cable and its accessories. Technical requirements, test items and methods, acceptance methods, packaging and transportation, etc. This standard applies to AC rated voltage 64/110kV single-core cross-linked polyethylene cables and their accessories as well as metal sheaths and (or) metal shielding grounding systems; for AC rated voltage 127/220kV single-core cross-linked polyethylene cables and their accessories and Metal sleeves and/or metal shielding grounding systems can also be used as a reference. This standard must be used together with GB11017 and GB2952 "Cable Outer Sheath". The remaining parts not specified in this standard refer to the provisions of these two standards. Note: GB11017 and GB2952 both refer to the corresponding IEC standards. This standard applies to foreign orders as well as domestic orders.
