- This standard specifies the procedures for qualification assessment and certification of physical and chemical inspection personnel in the electric power industry. It is applicable to assessment agencies’ qualification and certification of personnel engaged in the following inspections: a) Metallographic inspection; b) Mechanical property inspection; c) Spectral inspection. This standard applies to all physical and chemical inspection personnel engaged in the installation, maintenance, repair and supervision of electrical equipment.
