Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for welding heat treatment of steel pressure-bearing pipes and components (including pressure-bearing parts and non-pressure-bearing parts) in thermal power plants during the production, installation, and maintenance processes. This standard applies to preheating, postheating and postweld heat treatment of weldments using heating methods.
