- This standard specifies general requirements for the manufacture, selection, use and maintenance of tools, devices and equipment for live work. This standard applies to tool manufacturing enterprises and the safe use of tools, devices and equipment by staff who are qualified and skilled in live work. Content includes: a) Characteristics of tools; b) Conditions of use; c) Maintenance conditions. This standard also includes the instructions for use provided by the manufacturer, but does not include specific live work methods.
