- This standard specifies the basic requirements, methods and principles for selecting methods for corrosion prevention during shutdown (standby) of thermal equipment in thermal power plants. This standard is applicable to the shutdown (standby) anti-corrosion protection of thermal equipment such as boilers, steam turbines, heaters, and condensers of thermal power generating units. This standard can be used as a reference for shutdown (standby) protection of secondary circuit thermal equipment in nuclear power plants.
