- This standard specifies the minimum performance requirements and test methods for radioactive contamination monitors used in laundry rooms. This standard applies to work clothes radioactive contamination monitors. This monitor is used after cleaning work clothes to determine whether the radioactive contamination level is at an acceptable level before reuse. This standard does not apply to the monitoring of work clothes used outside the factory.
