Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the twist of air-flow cotton yarn using the one-time untwisting and twisting method and the three-time untwisting and twisting method. This standard is suitable for determining the twist of air-spun cotton yarn. This standard can also be used to determine the twist of pure or blended air-laid yarns of chemical fibers.
