- This standard specifies the test methods for the physical and mechanical properties of special industrial braided ropes and straps (including ropes of cotton fiber, silk fiber, hemp fiber and chemical fiber). This standard is applicable to the physical and mechanical properties testing of general special industrial ropes. If there are special requirements for ropes, they should be specified in the quality standards of the ropes, or the supply and demand parties should make separate agreements.
