- This standard specifies the method for scoring the shelter points of yarn-dyed cotton fabrics. This standard is applicable to the inspection of shelter points on the fabric surface of yarn-dyed cotton fabrics and the inspection of fabric surface shelter spots on clothing-dyed cotton fabrics (including velvet fabrics). This standard does not apply to the inspection of shelter points on special types of fabrics such as yarn-dyed seersucker, denim, jacquard, and leno weave.
