- This standard specifies the basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of flat knitting machines. This standard applies to manual and electric flat knitting machines whose nominal machine width is not greater than 157cm/62. Technical requirements for the mechanical parts of knitting machines with a nominal width greater than 157cm/62 and computer-controlled knitting machines can be adopted as a reference.
