Scope
This part of GA/T 379 specifies the standard interface requirements for control and indication equipment and remote communication transmission equipment in alarm systems to communicate using ITU-T recommendation V.24/V.28 signaling, where communication transmission equipment is a general-purpose equipment , is not specifically designed for the alarm industry (and therefore does not comply with the requirements of other parts of this standard). This section applies to interfaces with standard modems, packet-switched networks, X25 packet disassembly equipment, etc. This is to ensure compatibility between devices from different providers. This section applies equally to the transmission of alarm information and other information to/from intrusion, fire alarm, exit control and social alarm systems, as well as the transmission of information to/from other similar systems.
