Scope
This part of GA/T 379 specifies the requirements for standard interfaces using two-wire connections in accordance with ISO/IEC 8482. Standard interface for use between an alarm system control and indicating equipment (CIE) and one or more alarm system transceivers connected to an alarm transmission system. This section provides a flexible interface that allows a host CIE to connect to multiple alarm system transceivers or slave CIEs. They must comply with the requirements of ISO/IEC 8482. This section is to ensure compatibility between devices from different vendors. This section applies equally to the transmission of alarm information and other information to/from intrusion, fire alarm, exit control and social alarm systems, as well as to/from other similar systems.
