Scope
This part of GA/T 379 specifies the data link layer information structure, format and transmission process that should be used by the standard serial data interface when the transmission network of the alarm transmission system does not provide a standard protocol. This can ensure that different suppliers Compatibility between devices. This section applies equally to the transmission of alarm information and other information to/from intrusion, fire alarm, exit control and social alarm systems, as well as to/from other similar systems. This section is based on a simple query response algorithm between a master and one or more slaves. This protocol supports point-to-point and point-to-multipoint operations. Multipoint-to-multipoint operations are not supported, but information transmission from slave to slave using the host as a simple router is supported. This protocol adheres to the OSI layered protocol recommendations to allow flexibility in physical layer applications.
