GA/T 379.2-2002 Message formats and protocols for serial data interfaces in alarm transmission systems Part 2:Common application layer protocol (English Version)
This part of GA/T 379 specifies the common application layer protocol (information structure, format and transmission process) of the standard interface of the alarm transmission system. This standard should be used when devices provided by different vendors need to be interconnected and the underlying system structure cannot place its own application layer at the interface (for example, in some bus systems). The message structure follows the OSI layered protocol recommendations to provide flexibility in selecting and using lower-layer transport media and protocols. The common application layer protocol specifies a minimum subset provided by all devices that support the standard, and defines the range of extensions that may be provided. The design of the protocol allows it to be extended beyond the scope of the information defined here, thus providing additional functionality and manufacturer-specific extensions. This section applies equally to the transmission of alarm information and other information to/from intrusion, fire alarm, exit control and social alarm systems, as well as to/from other similar systems.
