- This standard stipulates the technical requirements for video surveillance systems (hereinafter referred to as systems) for security technical prevention inside buildings and surrounding areas. It is the basic basis for the design and acceptance of television surveillance systems for security technical prevention. This standard is applicable to the design of television surveillance systems in new construction, expansion and renovation projects for the purpose of security surveillance. Video surveillance systems in other fields can be used as a reference. The technical content of this standard applies only to analog systems or analog systems partially using digital technology.
