This standard specifies the symbols, terminology, specimens, test equipment, test conditions, performance measurement, rounding of performance data values, and test reports for high-temperature tensile testing methods for metallic materials. This standard is suitable for measuring the tensile mechanical properties of metal materials at test temperatures between 100 and 1100°C. This standard does not include the determination of the high-temperature tensile properties of wires, pipes, plates and strips with a thickness below 0.5mm.
